Village Green Day School Contributes $1,667 to Great Falls Optimist Club Village Green Day School recently contributed $1,667 to the Great Falls Optimist Club to support the Club’s many child-centered activities. Located in Great Falls, Virginia, Village Green organizes a fundraiser every other year to support school activities such as their annual picnic and Breakfast with Santa. Any funds left over are donated to a local charity and this year, much to the surprise and delight of the Optimists, the Great Falls organization was selected as the beneficiary. “Our missions are related, said Optimist Club President T.R. Cook. “We both foster the well-being of children in our community, and present opportunities for their enrichment. Every penny of this very generous contribution will be used to benefit the young people in our area.”
